Syrsky awards soldiers of Defense Forces in Eastern Direction
During his work in the Eastern Direction, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky awarded servicemen of corps, separate assault regiments and battalions, who perform combat missions in the most difficult sections of the front.
"For personal courage, steadfastness, professionalism and effective actions in the fight against the Russian aggressor, I presented the best soldiers with state awards and decorations of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he said in Telegram.
Syrsky said that from February 2024 to the present, more than 123,000 servicemen have been awarded decorations of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, during the four years of the full-scale invasion, almost 230,000 defenders were awarded the Commander-in-Chief's decorations.
