Kyiv hands over nearly 2,000 UAVs of various types to 112th territorial defense brigade
Kyiv community has donated a new batch of aid to the fighters of the 112th Kyiv Territorial Defense Brigade – 1,925 UAVs of various types, Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced.
"From the capital’s community, fighters from the 112th Kyiv territorial defense brigade received another 1,925 UAVs of various types. Specifically, 1,250 FPV strike drones, 450 Mavic daytime drones, 180 interceptor drones, 35 heavy bombers, 10 reconnaissance aircraft, and 15 ground control stations for the interceptor drones," he wrote on Telegram on Thursday.
Klitschko noted that, starting in early 2026, UAH 100 million has been allocated from the capital’s budget for equipment for the 112th brigade.
Klitschko recalled that last week, the city’s municipality donated 1,200 multirotor systems to the fighters of the 25th Kyiv Prince Askold Brigade of the National Guard. Namely, 620 interceptor drones, which help protect the skies above Kyiv.
