Info about alleged capture of Rizdvianka in Zaporizhia region does not correspond to reality - Defense Forces of the South

Reports that the Russian occupiers have allegedly captured the settlement of Rizdvianka (Zaporizhia region) are fake and disinformation, stated the spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, Vladyslav Voloshyn, in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

"This is complete nonsense, disinformation, and a fake. Firstly, Rizdvianka is located twenty kilometers from the line of combat contact," the spokesperson noted.

Secondly, Voloshyn emphasized, on the path from the front line to Rizdvianka, there are several other settlements (including Dobropillia, Ternuvate, Kosivtseve, and Prydorozhnie), and the enemy cannot even approach these locations.

"And right now, fierce battles are ongoing east of Dobropillia. That is, even the battles there are taking place 20-25 kilometers away from the settlement of Rizdvianka," the spokesperson explained.

At the same time, Voloshyn reported that, according to Ukrainian intelligence, the enemy tried to insert a small infiltration group into several settlements. The occupiers were intended to penetrate the area of Kosivtseve, Prydorozhnie, and Rizdvianka, but the group was destroyed.

"But Russian propaganda continues to tell fakes. A week ago, it told the same story about Kosivtseve and Prydorozhnie, and now they are talking about Rizdvianka. In fact, Rizdvianka is under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine," Voloshyn emphasized.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the alleged capture of the village of Rizdvianka in Zaporizhia.
