Russia attacks Kherson region, killing 1 and injuring 11

Russian troops attacked the Kherson region, resulting in 11 injuries and one death, Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin has said.

"Due to Russia’s aggression, 1 person died, and another 11 sustained injuries," he wrote on Telegram.

Prokudin specified that over the past day, Berislav, Dudchany, Urozhaine, Novoraisk, Sofiivka, Sablukivka, Komyshany, Antonivka, Vesele, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Kozatske, Mylove, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Shevchenkivka, Veletenske, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Mykilske, Novokairy, Novotyahynka, Osokorivka, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, and the city of Kherson were under drone terror, airstrikes, and artillery shelling from Russia.

According to him, the Russian military struck critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential quarters in the region’s settlements, damaging three high-rise buildings and 11 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a water tower, a cell tower, a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, and private cars.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, 13 people were evacuated from the liberated communities of the region.
