Witkoff doesn't rule out Ukraine-Russia-USA trilateral meeting within next 10 days
Special envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump, Stephen Witkoff, does not rule out a visit by NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov to Florida soon, as well as a trilateral meeting between delegations of Ukraine, Russia, the United States within the next ten days.
He stated this in an online format at the YES meeting organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation on February 24, 2026.
Witkoff said they were not only planning meetings in Geneva, adding that he believed Rustem Umerov might travel to Florida to meet with them shortly afterward. He said a trilateral meeting was being prepared, involving the Ukrainian delegation, the Russian delegation, and himself, Jared Kushner, and their teams, likely within the next ten days.
On February 24, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and Yalta European Strategy hosted a special YES meeting to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The event brought together leading political leaders, government officials, military personnel, experts, and parliamentarians from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States for a frank conversation about the state of the war in Ukraine, the prospects for its conclusion, and Ukraine's place in Europe's future security architecture.
