Kyiv region receives generators from Red Cross for boarding schools and social service centers

Kyiv region received 50 generators of varying capacity from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) to ensure the stable operation of social institutions.

As reported on Kyiv Regional Administration website on Tuesday, the equipment was delivered to boarding schools and inpatient departments of the regional social service centers. The generators are designed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the facilities in the event of emergency or severe power outages.

Assistance was provided to 10 residential care facilities housing 1,964 people, including 328 internally displaced persons. Equipment was also donated to 27 inpatient departments of regional centers, which provide social services to 707 people, including 75 internally displaced persons.
