Zelenskyy: Let the images of the pain brought by Russia be seen by everyone who still buys oil from Putin
Russia has brought pain to every Ukrainian heart and revealed its true nature; let the images of the consequences of Russia crimes be seen by all whose consciences are not troubled, who still extend a hand to Russia evil and still buy oil from Putin, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
"Bucha. Irpin. Borodianka. Mass graves. Hostomel. 'Mriya.' Kharkiv. Mykolaiv. Regional State Administration. Kakhovka Dam. Zaporizhzhia NPP (nuclear power plant). Kremenchuk and Kryvyi Rih. Ternopil and Lviv. Olenivka. Chasiv Yar. Kyiv. 'Okhmatdyt.' Kramatorsk. Railway station. A toy. Mariupol. Drama Theater. The inscription 'Children.' Odesa. A high-rise building. A girl. Three months old. Vilniansk. Maternity ward. An infant. Two days old," the President recalled the Russia crimes in his address on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion.
The President noted that men do not fight this way, and human beings do not act this way, and Ukrainians will not forget it.
"And let these images be seen by all whose consciences are not troubled, who still extend a hand to Russia evil and still buy oil from Putin," he emphasized.
According to him, Ukrainians are transforming their own rage into energy for the struggle and are proving that "you can force us down into a shelter, but it is impossible to drive Ukraine underground forever."
He also remembered the heroes who gave their lives so that Ukraine might live.
"Da Vinci. Hrenka. Juice. Zheka. Tykhyi. Nord. Petrychenko. Matsievskyi. Sailor Vitaliy Skakun. Pilot Oleksandr Oksanchenko. Daria Lopatina, Delta. Lana Chornohorska, Sati. Yulia Bereziuk. Marharyta Polovinko. Thousands, thousands of heroes who gave their lives so that Ukraine might live. Our warrior-defenders. Our guardian angels," the President said.
"I am sure they told God the whole truth about this war. About how we defend ourselves. We defend our land, life, independence, our culture, history, our Sophia, our people. One thousand four hundred sixty-two days of full-scale war. Twelve years since the start of the war by Russia. For some—a lifetime. Of course, we all want the war to end. But no one will allow Ukraine to end," Zelenskyy said.
