Ukrenergo sees no impact from Slovakia's halt of emergency electricity assistance on power system
The possible termination of emergency electricity assistance from Slovakia to Ukraine will not have an impact on the situation in the power system, Ukrenergo national power company has said.
"The probable termination of emergency electricity supplies from Slovakia will not have any impact on the situation in the unified power system of Ukraine. The last time Ukraine requested aviation assistance from Slovakia was over a month ago and in a very limited volume," the company said on Facebook on Monday evening.
According to the statement, in general, emergency assistance from the Slovak direction arrived in the unified power system of Ukraine quite rarely and we are talking about short-term supplies.
Ukrenergo also said the company has not yet received any official documents on the unilateral termination of the agreement on mutual provision of emergency assistance by the Slovak system operator, SEPS.
