Woman killed, another injured due to shelling in Dnipropetrovsk region – council
A woman died, another was injured due to shelling in Pokrovsk community of Dnipropetrovsk region, Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk has said.
"Security situation in Dnipropetrovsk region as of 18:30. Synelnyk district. The enemy attacked Pokrovsk and Mezhova communities with KAB bombs and a drone. Unfortunately, a woman died in Pokrovsk community. Sincere condolences to the relatives. Another woman was injured," he said in Telegram channel.
According to him, six households, an academy school, a culture house and a vehicle were damaged.
The occupiers shelled Nikopol district with drones and artillery.
"They targeted the district center, Marhanets, Pokrovsk rural, Myriv and Chervonohryhorivka communities. The house was on fire. The garage was destroyed, 11 households, a high-rise building, an administrative building, an enterprise, a bus, a car and two outbuildings were damaged," Lukashuk said.
According to updated information, two more houses, a garage and a car were damaged due to night attacks in Pokrovsk community.
