NATO should consider Oreshnik on Belarusian territory as legitimate target – Zelenskyy
NATO should consider the Oreshnik missile system, located in Belarus, a legitimate target, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Regarding Oreshnik, in my opinion, NATO should consider it a legitimate target. Well, we will monitor this threat and assess it," Zelenskyy said in an interview with the Belarusian independent media outlet Zerkalo.
The President noted that Lukashenko is making a big mistake, and this is not just about Oreshnik.
"Everyone can see they're putting on a big show. They haven't even brought the entire system yet, just the necessary transport vehicles, and they're already making it sound like everything's already there. They're trying to scare Europe. But Lukashenko is playing a dangerous game, because after these steps, the Russians, without a doubt and without asking him, will bring the Oreshnik to your country," Zelenskyy added.
