Energy supply situation remains difficult – PM Svyrydenko
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko has said that the energy supply situation remains difficult, but the government is working on stabilization.
"We heard from relevant ministries, heads of regional military administrations, and state companies regarding the current situation in the energy system and restoration after shelling. The priority is stabilizing energy supply across the country. The situation remains difficult. The government is engaging all necessary resources. In addition to internal reserves, stable imports of gas and electricity are being ensured," Svyrydenko wrote on her Telegram channel following the results of a daily energy selector meeting.
According to her, the government continues to support people during the energy emergency. In particular, together with state companies, targeted assistance is being provided to people with disabilities and single pensioners.
This week, additional kits are being transferred to residents of Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions, where the energy supply situation remains difficult. By the end of the week, 100,000 people will receive "Warmth Packages."
