Fedorov reported that 90% of deferrals were extended via Reserve+ automatically
The result of automating the process of obtaining deferrals is that 90% of them are now extended without human intervention in the Reserve+ application, without submitting applications or certificates and without visits to territorial recruitment and social support centers, taking only a few days, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov has said.
"Until recently, the process took weeks and consumed many resources. Now the system itself checks data through state registers and extends the deferral automatically," Fedorov wrote on Telegram on Monday.
According to him, it is no longer necessary to collect documents that grant the right to a deferral, as "the system independently processes data from the registers." Additionally, there is no need to wait for the deferral status for over a week, as the corresponding notification arrives directly in Reserve+. The minister also states that manual processing of tens of thousands of applications and accompanying documents has been eliminated: "focus is on key defense tasks."
"We are currently working on a comprehensive mobilization reform. We will propose a systemic solution to resolve problems accumulated over the years while maintaining the country’s defense capability," Fedorov added.
