Control restored over 400 sq km and eight settlements in the Southern operational zone - Syrsky
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported on a working trip to the Southern operational zone and the liberation by Ukrainian service members in the relevant directions of 400 sq km since the end of January this year.
"The situation in this sector is difficult. The enemy continues to exert pressure, actively using small assault groups for infiltration, and utilizing artillery, unmanned vehicles, and in some places, armored vehicles. However, our warriors are not only holding the defense but are also acting successfully in the offensive operation. Since the end of January this year, in the Oleksandrivka direction, the Air Assault Forces grouping and adjacent units have restored control over 400 sq km of territory and eight settlements," Syrsky wrote on Telegram on Monday.
