Kyiv receives four generators from Paris City Hall, four more to arrive soon – Klitschko
Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo arrived in Kyiv for the sixth time since the start of the full-scale war, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.
"Today, Anne Hidalgo did not come empty-handed. Our French friends brought generators that Kyiv so badly needs amid the energy crisis. Four generators arrived today. We expect four more in the coming days, for a total of eight, each with a capacity of 112 kilowatts. On behalf of the Kyiv community, I thanked our partners for all the assistance and support provided. And I presented the mayor of Paris with Kyiv’s highest honor — the Sign of Honor," Klitschko wrote on Telegram on Saturday.
Paris and Kyiv signed a Friendship and Cooperation Agreement in April 2022, and since the start of the full-scale war the French capital’s city hall has been sending Kyiv various forms of humanitarian aid, including generators and other necessary equipment, he said.
