Russia injures 5 in shelling in Dnipropetrovsk region – police
Five people sustained injuries in settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region due to shelling by the occupiers, the Communications Department of the National Police of Ukraine reported.
"Synelnykove district. The enemy attacked the Pokrovske, Dubovykivka, and Vasylkivka hromadas… Two women, aged 52 and 24, were wounded," the law enforcement agency stated on its Telegram channel.
As a result of the strikes, an administrative building, a garage, passenger cars, an outbuilding, and private houses caught fire.
"Pavlohrad district. The enemy struck the Bohdanivka hromada. A 48-year-old woman was wounded," the police informed.
In the hromada, four residential buildings were destroyed and vehicles were damaged.
Additionally, throughout the day and night, Russia struck hromadas in the Nikopol district.
"On February 19, in the afternoon, the enemy directed one of the FPV drones at a public transport stop in Nikopol — a 40-year-old woman was injured. Today, around 1:00 AM, nearly a dozen shots were fired from MLRS at civilian objects. A 42-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds," the police noted.
Police investigators continue to work at the scene and are determining the final consequences of the strikes carried out by Russia.
