Zelenskyy: We see developments on sensitive issues in political dimension, negotiations were difficult

Based on the results of two-day negotiations in Geneva between Ukraine, the United States, and the Russian Federation regarding a peaceful settlement, there are developments in the political component, but for now the positions of the parties differ, and there is no such progress as in the military direction, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

"As for the political component, these are all the sensitive issues you know about: the east, the station (ZNPP – IF-U). There will also be a broader report upon return. We see that there are developments, but for now the positions are different because the negotiations were not easy. My sub-group will show me all these nuances. That is, I heard progress in the military direction; in the political direction there was a dialogue, we agreed to go further, we agreed to continue. I did not hear the same kind of progress there as on the military side," Zelenskyy told journalists on Wednesday.
