Ukrainian and Swedish Red Cross agree on priorities for further cooperation
The leadership of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), led by Director General Maksym Dotsenko, and a delegation from the Swedish Red Cross, headed by Secretary General Ulrika Modéer, have agreed on strategic cooperation priorities.
"The meeting was dedicated to the development of strategic partnership, coordination of humanitarian initiatives, and the determination of priorities for further cooperation between the Ukrainian and Swedish Red Cross," the URCS reported on Facebook.
The parties discussed strengthening joint programs in the field of mental health and psychosocial support, with a focus on building capacity and service sustainability.
In addition, the meeting participants touched upon the systemic integration of protection, gender equality, and inclusion approaches within Red Cross programs and mechanisms, as well as the development of local organizations, including issues of governance and institutional capacity.
