AFU General Staff: Ilsky oil refinery, logistics facilities, invaders’ communications center damaged

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, as well as a communications hub, logistics facility, and enemy concentration areas in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

"On the night of February 17, near the village of Ilsky (Krasnodar Krai, Russia), the Ilsky oil refinery was hit. A target was hit, followed by a fire at the facility. The results are being verified," the General Staff said on its Telegram channel.

According to the Staff, the Ilsky Oil Refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in southern Russia and plays a vital role in the production of petroleum products. The combined capacity of its primary processing units is 6.6 million tonnes of oil per year. The refinery is involved in supplying the occupying forces.

Several targets in Ukraine’s military-industrial zone were also hit.

"Enemy concentration areas in Zaporizhia region temporarily occupied territory (TOT) were hit in the areas of Rozivka and Liubymivka. Furthermore, enemy logistics facilities were hit: logistics depots in Donetsk and near the settlement of Lidyne (Donetsk region TOT). A communications center of the enemy’s 127th Motorized Rifle Division was also hit near the settlement of Zelenopil (Zaporizhia region TOT)," the military reported.

The occupiers’ losses and the extent of the damage are being clarified.
