Zelenskyy expands list of positions occupied by military personnel in govt agencies and institutions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expanded the list of positions held by military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations, and special-purpose law enforcement agencies in government agencies, enterprises, institutions, organizations, and state and municipal educational institutions, as well as the maximum military ranks for these positions.

Corresponding Decree No. 122/2026 was published on the website of the Office of the President.

The amendment adds the following entry to the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine section after the position Deputy State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (position may be occupied during martial law): Deputy Head of the Service of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Energy of Ukraine (position may be filled during martial law): colonel," the decree states.

The decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
