USA not forcing anyone to accept an agreement to end the Russian war against Ukraine – Rubio

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that Washington does not want to force any of the participants in the process of ending the Russian-Ukrainian war to accept a future settlement agreement.

"The United States is the only country that can force both sides to sit down at the negotiating table. No European country is able to do this… All we are trying to do is play a role in reaching an agreement. We are not imposing an agreement on anyone, we are not forcing anyone to accept an agreement if they do not want to. We just want to help," he said at a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
