Car explodes in Kyivsky district of Odesa - police
A 56-year-old man was injured in the explosion of a Toyota car on Akademika Koroleva Street in Odesa, a report of which was received by law enforcement officers on Monday morning, according to the website of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
"According to preliminary information from law enforcement officers, a 56-year-old man was injured. He was hospitalized. Operatives, investigators, forensic experts, and police explosives technicians are working at the scene. The legal qualification of the incident will be provided after all the circumstances are clarified," the report says.
The identity of the victim is not yet specified. Photos from the scene show that the explosion destroyed the hood of the car, and it was also thrown onto a car parked nearby. In total, at least three vehicles were severely damaged.
