Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes it is a mistake that Europe is currently absent from the negotiating table.

"The Americans often return to the issue of concessions. And too often, these concessions are discussed in the context of Ukraine alone, not Russia. Europe is practically absent from the table. This is a big mistake, in my opinion," Zelenskyy said speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.

According to the president, the Russians often talk about "some kind of Anchorage spirit" during negotiations, and we "can only guess what they really mean."

The head of state added that the Ukrainians are trying to fully engage Europe in the negotiating process so that Europe’s interests and voice are taken into account.

"Ukraine will do everything, truly everything, to make these negotiations successful. We’ve invested in this process, and we’re in constant communication with Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and everyone else appointed by President Trump," Zelenskyy emphasized.
