Zelenskyy: Thanks to Ukraine, Orban doesn't have to worry about building up his army to stop Russian tanks from returning to Budapest
Ukraine is keeping a European front, which is why the free Baltic states and an independent Poland can exist, and even Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán need not think about building up his army to defend against Russia, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"It is the Ukrainians who hold the European front. An independent Poland and free Baltic states stand behind our people. A sovereign Moldova and Romania without dictatorship is possible. And even Viktor alone can think about how to grow his belly, not how to build up his army to stop Russian tanks from returning to the streets of Budapest," Zelenskyy said speaking at the Munich Security Conference.
The President emphasized that Ukraine did not choose this war.
"Ukrainians are people. People, not terminators. Our people are dying too. And that’s why we are doing everything we can to stop this war and guarantee security," the head of state added.
