Ukrainian Red Cross Society's Reboot online service has helped nearly 1,000 people find jobs
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) "Reboot" online service has helped nearly 1,000 people in their job search.
"The online service provides support in finding employment regardless of place of residence or life circumstances. Mothers of children with disabilities, people who support dependents, veterans, and individuals with limited access reach out to us. We provide real support in regions where the program has no physical presence, thereby reaching people across Ukraine. Our value lies in flexibility and accessibility," said program specialist Tetiana Domina.
According to the URCS Facebook page, nearly 1,000 participants joined the "Reboot" program through the digital service in 2025. Half of them completed training and retraining in in-demand fields, including IT, social media promotion, recruiting, accounting, and logistics.
The program's online platform operates in parallel with service centers in the regions but has a key difference: all services are delivered remotely, allowing the program to reach a significantly broader range of people from vulnerable population groups.
Participants in the program include members of households caring for people with disabilities or elderly individuals, people with chronic illnesses or conditions that significantly limit their ability to work, families of prisoners of war, the fallen, and the missing, individuals whose property was destroyed or damaged as a result of the Russian Federation's full-scale aggression against Ukraine, as well as low-income households and other socially vulnerable groups.
The program offers flexible employment options tailored to participants' individual needs. Registered participants receive psychological support and assistance in restoring their inner resilience, consultations with a career advisor who helps identify strengths and professional potential, guidance in creating resumes and planning career paths, and the opportunity to complete online training to improve qualifications and competitiveness in the labor market.
The "Reboot" online service operates in Zakarpattia, Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as in government-controlled territories of Zaporizhia, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. In other regions (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, and Kirovohrad) and in Kyiv, the "Reboot" program's service centers operate offline.
The "Reboot" online service program is supported by the Spanish Red Cross.
