General Staff reports Flamingo strike on ammo depot in Russia

On the night of February 12, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an arsenal of complex storage of missiles, ammunition and explosives of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) of the Russian Defense Ministry in the area of the village of Kotluban (Volgograd Region, Russian Federation).

"This arsenal is one of the largest ammunition storage sites of the Russian army. The arsenal was struck by Ukrainian long-range weapons FP-5 Flamingo, the General Staff said on Telegram on Thursday.

Powerful explosions were reported on the territory of the facility with subsequent secondary detonation. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

In addition, a strike was carried out on the enterprise for the production of high-tech equipment for aviation and missile systems "Michurinsk Plant Progress" in the city of Michurinsk (Tambov region, Russian Federation), which is involved in supplying the Russian army.

"According to preliminary information, a fire broke out on the territory of the plant. The results and scale of the damage are being clarified," the General Staff reported.

The enemy’s ammunition depots in the area of the occupied villages of Terpinnya and Rozivka in the Zaporizhia region were also hit.

"In addition, it has been confirmed that as a result of the February 11 strike on the Volgogradsky oil refinery in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation, the main primary oil processing unit ELOU-AVT-1 was damaged, elements of AVT-3 and infrastructure facilities on the territory were damaged. At other facilities, in particular secondary processing, the load was reduced or a stop occurred. The enemy’s losses and the scale of the damage are being clarified," the General Staff said.
