Umerov, national security advisers from E3, NB8 discuss negotiation track, security guarantees

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov reported on talks with the national security advisers of "Eurotrack" countries (E3 – France, Germany and the United Kingdom) and the Nordic-Baltic "G8" (NB8 – Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland) regarding negotiations on ending the Russian-Ukrainian war and providing security guarantees to Ukraine.

"During the calls, we synchronized positions on the negotiation track and further diplomatic work. We also emphasized the need for effective security guarantees for Ukraine. This is one of the important foundations for long-term peace," Umerov said on Telegram channel on Tuesday, following the conversation.

He also said the E3 and NB8 countries are "among the leaders in supporting our state" and provide Ukraine with critically important assistance.
