Kyivstar signs agreement to acquire Tabletki.ua service for $160 mln

Ukraine’s largest mobile operator, Kyivstar, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of the digital medical goods service Tabletki.ua (MTPK LLC) for $160 million, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

"We will be able to combine Kyivstar’s successful experience in managing and developing digital businesses with Tabletki.ua’s strong foundation to make digital healthcare services more accessible to a broader audience and ensure maximum convenience for everyone," Kyivstar President and CEO Oleksandr Komarov said.

It is noted that the service will join the operator’s portfolio of digital services, which includes the Helsi medical information system, the Uklon ride-hailing and delivery service, the Kyivstar TV cinema and television platform, and the My Kyivstar application.

The operator уточнил that, according to unaudited management reporting, as of September 30, 2025, Tabletki.ua demonstrated an LTM EBITDA of $24 million, while net profit for the last twelve months (LTM) amounted to $20 million.

The service cooperates with more than 14,000 pharmacies across Ukraine and, according to 2025 data, facilitated 14 million online orders per month. The total gross merchandise value (GMV) of goods reserved through the platform amounted to UAH 45 billion ($1.1 billion) for the 2024 fiscal year and UAH 57.3 billion ($1.2 billion) LTM ending September 30, 2025.

At the end of January this year, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) authorized Kyivstar to acquire control of the Tabletki.ua service, although Kyivstar first submitted its application to acquire MTPK back in November 2024.

As reported, Kyivstar posted EBITDA of UAH 7.1 billion in the third quarter of 2025, which is 21.5% higher than in the third quarter of 2024, while in U.S. dollars the increase was 20.4%, to $171 million.
