President's Office dpty head: Sky defense becomes component of regional policy

Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Viktor Mykyta held a regional meeting, at which they discussed strengthening air defense, in particular, thanks to "non-linear solutions" and involving specialists who can think "non-standard and quickly."

"Each region, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the military command, has received the opportunity to independently develop and strengthen the air defense system of the region and critical infrastructure facilities. The enemy is changing its attack tactics. We are responding by changing our approaches to sky defense. Now this is an integral part of the state’s regional policy," he said in the Telegram channel.

Mykyta added that local authorities must provide funding and the necessary resources, the Ministry of Defense – the necessary weapons and equipment, and the military command – staffing with personnel with the necessary experience and qualifications.
