Leaders of about 20 countries to discuss prospects, security for Europe at 9th Ukrainian Luncheon at MSC

What are the prospects for ending Russia's war against Ukraine, how to strengthen European security together with Ukraine, and how to integrate Ukraine into the European space as a source of security, innovation, and long-term economic growth? These are the key topics at the Ninth Ukrainian Luncheon during Munich Security Conference (MSC).

According to a press release from the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and the Yalta European Strategy (YES), which are the organizers of the event, on February 14, speeches are expected from Presidents of the Czech Republic Petr Pavlo, Finland Alexander Stubb, Latvia Edgars Rinkėvičs, Croatia Andrej Plenković, Denmark Mette Frederiksen, the Netherlands Dick Schoof, Norway, Jonas Gaar Støre, and Sweden Ulf Kristersson.

Other participants in the discussion will include the heads of foreign affairs of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, Canada, Anita Anand, Austria, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, Moldova, Mihai Popšoi, as well as European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and European Commissioner for Economy and Productivity Valdis Dombrovskis, the Chief of Staff of the German Army, Christian Freuding, and several members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

"Ukraine today is the front line where the future of European security is being shaped. Europe's ability to defend its own values ​​and interests is being tested here. But this frontier is under fierce attack and requires decisive and constant support," the foundation said.

The discussion will be moderated by Zanny Minton Beddoes, editor-in-chief of The Economist magazine.

The online broadcast of the Ukrainian Lunch will start at 14:30 Kyiv time on February 14, 2026, on the Victor Pinchuk Foundation's YouTube channel.
