Situation in Pokrovsk area continues to deteriorate, but fighting for the city continues – DeepState

Fighting for the cities of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Donetsk region continues, with the enemy pushing its infantry into the northern part of Pokrovsk, the OSINT project DeepState reported on Monday.

"The situation in Pokrovsk area continues to deteriorate… Entry into the city is severely restricted. The enemy is actively laying mines remotely. Areas that are successfully cleared are immediately re-mined. The enemy also continues to make constant attempts to enter Hryshyne, and recently, pilots have focused more on this town than on Pokrovsk, which the enemy is taking advantage of," the message reads.

It is also reported that the enemy is amassing on farms north of Myrnohrad, "accumulating personnel in a church, along with civilians, violating, among other things, humanitarian law." "Chaotic fighting continues in the northern part of the city by the remnants of the Defense Forces group located in Myrnohrad," DeepState reports.

Furthermore, the enemy is increasing its pressure near the town of Rodynske, north of Pokrovsk. "The biggest problem is that the enemy is conducting small infantry raids west of Rodynske, deep into our defenses, and is searching for pilots, who are currently at risk of coming into fire contact with enemy attack aircraft. At the same time, Rodynske is the last settlement offering an opportunity to attempt an escape from Myrnohrad, a fact the enemy understands very well," the message reads.
