The Supervisory Board of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC (GTSOU) has appointed Natalia Boyko, former deputy chair of the supervisory board of Naftogaz Ukrainy, as acting CEO of GTSOU.

According to a statement published on the company’s website on Monday, the decision was made by the supervisory board at a meeting on Feb. 7, 2026.

Earlier, by decision of the supervisory board, Boyko had been appointed to GTSOU’s executive board as deputy CEO.

Currently, the company’s executive board includes Natalia Boyko, Vladyslav Medvedev, Borys Liubych, Kateryna Kovalenko, and Oleksandr Tymofeev.

As noted in the GTSOU statement, Boyko has more than 15 years of professional experience in the energy sector. In addition to her position as deputy chair of Naftogaz’s supervisory board, she also served, in particular, as an advisor to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

Sources from Energy Reform previously indicated that after Shmyhal was appointed head of the Energy Ministry, he considered Boyko for the position of deputy energy minister, but she declined the offer.

Several days ago, Boyko announced that she had completed her tenure on the supervisory board of Naftogaz.
