Ukrainian Red Cross Society hands over equipment to volunteer fire brigades in Kherson region
Eleven communities in Kherson region have received equipment for volunteer fire brigades from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS).
"To improve the safety level of territorial communities in Kherson region, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society handed over 20 modern sets of material and technical equipment for volunteer fire brigades," the URCS said on Facebook.
A modern set includes a fire shield equipped with tools and primary firefighting equipment. The assistance also included fire nozzles and hoses, fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and other equipment. In addition, the URCS provided sets of uniforms for volunteers.
The initiative was implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with support from the Spanish Red Cross and in cooperation with the Kherson Regional Military Administration and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
