Ukraine receives 300 generators from SECI – Kuleba
Ukraine received 300 generators as part of support from the South-East Europe Cooperation Initiative (SECI), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba has said.
"The total capacity of the batch is 1.6 MW, the cost is over EUR 417,000. The equipment is already being transferred to the regions that most need backup power due to damage to the energy infrastructure as a result of the Russian strikes," Kuleba said in a Telegram post on Saturday.
The generators will be received by Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Lviv. Priority will be given to hospitals, maternity hospitals, schools, kindergartens and other social facilities.
