Finnish city of Pori donates EUR 41,000 to Ukraine for energy equipment and medicine – Embassy
The Ukrainian Embassy in Finland announced the decision of the mayor's office of the Finnish city of Pori to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the form of funds for the purchase of energy equipment and medicine.
“In response to the Embassy’s call to Finnish cities for humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, the City of Pori has stepped forward. We sincerely thank the residents of Pori and Mayor Lauri Inna for their important and timely support for Ukraine. The city’s decision to provide approximately EUR 41,000 for energy equipment and medical supplies is a true act of solidarity with Ukrainians at a time when daily Russian attacks deprive people of light and heat. Such support saves lives and gives hope,” the Embassy said.
Pori is the eleventh largest city in Finland, with a population of 83,000 in 2024.
