Umerov: Abu Dhabi talks continue in working groups on Wed

After the trilateral Ukrainian-U.S.-Russian meeting in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the negotiation process continued on Wednesday in the format of working in groups, member of the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov has said.

"The work was meaningful and productive, with an orientation towards specific steps and practical solutions. We are preparing a report to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," Umerov said on Wednesday, following the results of the trilateral meeting.

According to him, the Ukrainian delegation consisted of Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov, and his First Deputy Serhiy Kyslytsia; Deputy Head of the Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Vadym Skibitsky; MP David Arakhamia; Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov, and Advisor to President's Office Oleksandr Bevz.

"From the American side, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and Josh Gruenbaum, as well as Daniel Driscoll and General Alex Hrynkevich, took part in the consultations. The Russian side was represented at a high military level," Umerov said.

As reported, the Ukrainian delegation completed negotiations on peace efforts that took place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on Wednesday, and negotiations are expected to continue on Thursday.
