Seven killed, 15 injured in Druzhkivka market after Russian strike – Emergency Service

The death toll from the Russian air strike on the town of Druzhkivka in Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region has risen to seven, with 15 injured, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on its Telegram channel on Wednesday.

"Seven dead and 15 injured as a result of a Russian strike on a local market in Druzhkivka. Retail pavilions, warehouse buildings, and a car were damaged. At the scene, rescuers provided first aid to the wounded and transported one man to the hospital," the message reads.

Earlier, six people were reported dead and one wounded.

"The Russians shelled the city with cluster munitions – they hit the market, where there is always a large crowd of people in the morning," wrote Vadym Filashkin, head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

Furthermore, the enemy dropped two aerial bombs on Druzhkivka, damaging an industrial zone, three multi-story buildings, and three private homes.
