The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) provided assistance at the sites of the Russian air attack in Zaporizhia on February 3.

“Yesterday, the emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Zaporizhzhia region, working alongside other emergency services, provided assistance at sites affected by the recent attack on the city,” URCS said on Facebook Wednesday.

Volunteers administered first aid to five injured people and provided psychological first aid to those experiencing acute stress.

Later, volunteers returned to the strike site, where they provided first aid to one man, who was subsequently hospitalised. Others affected also received psychological first aid.

As reported, as a result of the massive Russian attack on February 3 in Zaporizhia, two people died (an 18-year-old boy and a girl), and the number of injured people increased to 12. People who were injured as a result of Russian strikes on the regional center continue to seek medical help. Doctors are diagnosing explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, contusions and concussions.
