The French Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has transferred 30 generators with a total capacity of 3.4 MW to Kyiv through the European Civil Protection Mechanism, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.

"Humanitarian aid from France has arrived in Kyiv: 30 generators with a total capacity of 3.4 MW, which the capital will allocate to the municipal utility Kyivteploenergo. These power sources will help the city strengthen the resilience of critical facilities, social institutions, and residential buildings," the mayor wrote on Telegram.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko thanked the government of the French Republic for the urgently needed assistance amid the energy crisis.

"Thanks to the French Minister for Foreign Trade and Investments, the French ambassador to Ukraine, and members of the French delegation who delivered aid to Kyiv today," he added.

As reported, Kyiv recently received 90 generators from the Warsaw city government and community, as well as 130 generators purchased with funds collected by Polish volunteers.
