The third point of assistance to Kyiv residents suffering from the energy terror of the Russian Federation has become operational in Kyiv. It was opened in Vyhurivschyna-Troyeschyna residential area in Desniansky district of the capital, where one of the two previously built points is also already operating, said member of parliament of Ukraine, leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko.

"The new "Solidarity Point is located at 63-a Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue. Two more are successfully operating at 23 Myloslavska Street and 10 Vasyl Kasiyan Street in Teremky. Here one can warm up, wash and dry things, charge gadgets, or just drink hot tea with sweets," Poroshenko wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

According to him, at this point people can wash and dry clothes, as well as charge communication devices. These complexes are part of a project of the Poroshenko Foundation and volunteers of the public organization Community Affair, launched for the front. As part of the project, more than three hundred washing and shower trailers were manufactured for combat brigades, but now they have been reoriented to help civilians.

Technically, the aid station consists of two parts. One is equipped with washing machines and dryers, the other is a relaxation area with hot drinks, chargers, and internet.

"European Solidarity Kyiv and the Poroshenko Foundation have deployed another Solidarity Points in the capital, in places where the situation is most critical. There are houses in Troyeschyna where there has been no heating supply since January 5. There are apartments where the wallpaper is wet, there are short circuits in the sockets, and mold has already appeared on the walls. Even if people manage to wash things during the short periods when the lights are on, they do not have time to dry, because there is no heat ... Whole families come to our points. Young people often bring things from elderly and disabled people who live on the upper floors. We must help each other, because this is our strength, which the enemy will never understand," Poroshenko noted.
