Zelenskyy on Russia's response to shelling: We usually try not to inform the aggressor of our plans
Ukraine typically tries not to inform Russia of military moves, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated, responding to a question about whether it plans to reciprocate Russia’s attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector.
"As for any of our military actions, we usually try not to inform the aggressor about our plans or our actions," Zelenskyy said during a press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Kyiv.
As reported, Russian occupiers attacked residential and energy infrastructure in Kyiv and several regions with drones and missiles on the night of Tuesday, February 3. More than 1,100 homes in the capital were left without heat, with the situation most severe in Darnytsky and Dniprovsky districts. Restoration work is already underway.
