Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is upbeat about the results achieved at the fifth session of the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission.
"The constructive work done and the agreements negotiated by the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission have confirmed that this mechanism of bilateral interaction is effective and that the commission should convene regularly," the presidential press service quoted Yanukovych as saying.
The decisions made aim to create a favorable environment for expanding Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in all areas without exception, he said. "We agree that our interstate relations have an enormous potential," Yanukovych said.
