Pechersky District Court in Kyiv has questioned fourteen witnesses in the criminal case against former interior minister of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko on an episode related to the investigation of the alleged poisoning of then presidential candidate Viktor Yuschenko.
The presiding judge in the case, Hanna Medushevska, read at the court's meeting on Tuesday the testimony of the former head of the investigation group that conducted an inquiry into the poisoning of Yuschenko, Halyna Klymovych, and thus finished questioning witnesses, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
In total, the court questioned fourteen witnesses in the criminal case on charges of violation of the law by the ex-minister when he extended the surveillance over the driver of former first deputy chief of the SBU Volodymyr Satsiuk in the frames of the investigation of Yuschenko's poisoning.
The judge has now started the next stage of the trial - consideration of the case materials.
