Ukraine-France match suspended in Donetsk due to heavy rain

The referee has suspended a match between Ukraine and France in Donetsk due to a thunderstorm.

Heavy rain is currently pouring over the Donbass-Arena, there are lightning cracks and thunder.

Lower sector have been soaked through, the water is flowing over the steps. The sector occupied by journalists is also swimming. Reporters were given plastic raincoats.

Small puddles have formed on the pitch. The drainage system does not cope with the flow of water.

A break in the match has been announced.
