Azarov: Ukraine should beat France

Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said he hopes that Ukraine will beat France in their second Euro 2012 match in Donetsk on June 15.

"The French are strong, but we are determined to win," he said at a meeting with Euronews CEO Michael Peters, according to the Web site of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Azarov also added: "We will play on home ground. I think that the French will not be disappointed to lose the game."

Peters, in turn, said he was confident that Ukraine's players have a good chance of winning the match.

As reported, Azarov plans to attend the match between Ukraine and France in Donetsk on June 15 and even intends to bet a bottle of cognac with the French fans.
