Beer consumption records set in Kharkiv fan zone when Netherlands play

A new record for beer consumption has been set in the official fan zone in Kharkiv.

On Wednesday, visitors of the fan zone drunk 12,000 liters of beer and broke the previous record set on Saturday, June 9, when football fans drank about 11,000 liters of beer, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent learned at the fan zone operator.

On both dates, the Metalist stadium hosted matches with the participation of the Netherlands team. On June 9, Holland played against Denmark, and on June 13 against Germany.
