Poll: Regions Party, Batkivschyna, UDAR, Communist Party could win seats in parliament
Most Ukrainians are ready to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the country, according to a survey conducted jointly by the Razumkov Center and the Democratic Initiatives Foundation.
According to the poll, 74.1% of respondents are ready to participate in the elections.
If the elections were held in early June, 27.6% of respondents would for the Regions Party, 25.6% for the Batkivschyna Party, 9.7% for the UDAR Party and 7.1% for the Communist Party.
Ukraine-Forward! Party led by Natalia Korolevska would not overcome the 5% election threshold, as only 4.6% of respondents are ready to vote for it, while 3.1% are ready to vote for the Svoboda Party.
Only 3% of citizens believe that the parliamentary elections will be fair and transparent.
According to 27%, the elections will be unfair.
The survey was conducted from May 31 to June 6, 2012 in all regions in Ukraine. A total of 2,009 respondents were interviewed, and the poll’s margin of error does not exceed 2.3%.
