Portugal defeats Denmark 3-2

The national football team of Portugal has defeated Denmark in their second Group B match of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

Portugal led the game with the score 2-1 in the first half. Portugal's Pepe and Postiga and Denmark's Nicklas Bendtner scored the goals.

In the second half, Bendtner leveled the score, but three minutes before the end of the match Varela rescued Portugal's Euro 2012 campaign by scoring a winner.

Thus, Portugal and Denmark have gained three points each on the results of two rounds of the championship's group stage.

In the first round, Germany defeated Portugal 1-0, while Denmark defeated the Netherlands with the same score.
