Czech Republic wins important victory over Greece after defeat to Russia

The national football team of the Czech Republic has defeated Greece 2-1 in the sides' second group match of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship that took place in Wroclaw.

The Czech teams literally stunned Greeks from the very beginning of the match. Petr Jiracek scored the first goal in the third minute of the match, and his team-mate Vaclav Pilar made another accurate shot three minutes later.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Greek forward Theofanis Gekas scored a goal to the Czech team.

After that Greece seized the initiative, but Czechs did not allow the rivals to level the score.
