Ferret Fred forecasts Russian victory

Fred, a psychic ferret from Kharkiv, has forecast that Russia will defeat Poland in the match tonight.

As usual the ferret had to choose between two bowls with food marked with the flags of the countries whose teams will play, according to the Ukraine 2012 information center.

"First, the ferret chose between Greece and the Czech Republic, and he selected the latter team. Then Fred had to choose between Russia and Poland, and he selected Russia," reads the statement.

The information center recalled that Fred has forecast correctly the results of five out of eight matches.

Meanwhile, Chita, a psychic elephant in Krakow, forecast that Poland would win tonight.
