France, England play 1-1 draw in first Euro 2012 Group D match

The national teams of France and England have finished their first Group D match by a draw 1-1.

From the first minutes of the match both teams played rather actively and their supporters enjoyed many exciting moments of the game. France definitely led the match. Although there was only one really dangerous moment when France's Hugo Lloris faced England's James Milner, but failed to score a goal by a shot from an acute angle.

England's Joleon Lescott began the score in the 30th minute of the match, and French midfielder Samir Nasri leveled in nine minutes.

In the second half, France kept leading the match, but still failed to take advantage of this.
